Между всякой работой решил набросать небольшой объясняющий текст (а вышло как всегда) о том, по какой логике игровые издательства сокращают сотрудников вне зависимости от стажа и производительности работы, и как утратилась вообще всякая связь между качеством игры и судьбой конкретного разработчика (все ж помним про Hi-Fi Rush и прочие, да?). То есть, откуда в принципе пошла эта связь между…READ FULL ▾

Получился в некотором роде обзор траекторий наиболее крупных издательств с попытками объяснить их поведение с нескольких сторон и историческим контекстом, откуда вообще часть индустрии переняла моду на сокращения и выкрики про большую технологию, которая вот-вот взорвет рынок, от NFT и VR до GenAI. А заодно попробовал обрисовать, на какие вызовы приходится отвечать издательствам, пытающимся не растерять капитал в долгой игре.
